The LRAD provide authorities and security officers a new way to communicate throughout a campus or to large gatherings. LRAD is a highly effective mass communication system that can be used to communicate warnings and instructions of impending severe weather, armed gunman and bomb threats, building lockdowns, CBRN incidents, and other emergency situations. LRAD can be manually operated or seamlessly integrated into existing control centers for remote operation to play live announcements or pre-recorded messages to ensure all students, staff and faculty simultaneously hear warnings and instructions.
